Welcome to New Hope African Methodist Episcopal (A. M. E.) Church located in the Buckhead community of Atlanta, Georgia. It is my pleasure to greet you in the matchless name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.

As the oldest African American church in Buckhead notated by the Buckhead Historical Society, New Hope is actively engaged in the spiritual development of all of God’s children.

In the midst of the bustling metropolis of Atlanta’s major commercial and financial centers, entertainment capitol, and steps away from the Governor’s mansion, we are excited to worship in this community. As we seek to uplift the community through our worship service, bible study, and the various ministries of the church, it is our hope that each visitor experiences the Radical Hospitality of New Hope, where our doors always swing open and our arms stretch wider to embrace you.

New Hope is honored to celebrate 155 years of Joyful Praise and Worship in the Buckhead community and it is my prayer that you will take this spiritual journey with us.
